Dissident MPA of Nawaz League Faisal Niazi resigns

A dissident legislator of the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) from Punjab Faisal Niazi has tendered his resignation from the membership of the provincial assembly of Punjab (MPA) on Sunday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, following the emerging political situation in Punjab especially after the Election Commission’s decision, Faisal Niazi has produced his resignation to PA Speaker Parvez Elahi himself.
Pertinent to mention here that Faisal Niazi was elected from a constituency PP-209 Khanewal in the 2018 general elections on the PML-N ticket and later joined the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
