Police on Sunday arrested Director General Parliamentary Affairs Rai Mumtaz while raiding the houses of Punjab Assembly officers, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The Punjab Assembly spokesman alleged that the police climbed over the walls and entered the house of the officers.
According to the family of Rai Mumtaz, he has been shifted to an unknown location.
“The police also raided the house of Punjab Assembly Secretary Muhammad Khan Bhatti,” said the Punjab Assembly spokesman.
“The police also raided the house of Secretary Coordination Inayatullah Lak,” added he.
