Field Marshal Gen Asim praises Pakistani media for highlighting truth

Field Marshal General Asim Munir has said that Pakistan media is pride of the nation which made it clear to the nation that Pakistan stands with the truth, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

During an informal talk to media, after receiving Baton of Field Marshal at Aiwan-e-Sadr Islamabad, General Asim Munir said that media is key pillar of the state which fought war with Pakistan Army bravely and exposed the fake news and revealed the truth to the world. 

To a question, Field Marshal said the name of Operation Bunyan Marsus was given after due consultation and it meaning was very clear and with the help of Allah, Pakistan Army proved wall of steel. 

General Asim Munir said, “we had told enemies that when Pakistan will give reply it will be severe and world will be surprised over it and thanks God we proved it”. 

Field Marshal made it clear that the elements who targeted innocent children will be given a befitting reply. 

He said Pakistan Army remains committed and alert for the safety and sovereignty of the country.
