Ishaq Dar reviews performance of Pakistan’s missions abroad
Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Friday chaired a high-level meeting to review the performance of Pakistan’s diplomatic missions abroad, focusing on diplomatic, consular, and economic affairs. 24NewsHD TV reported.
During the meeting, Dar appreciated the performance of Pakistani missions for their work in advancing the country’s diplomatic engagement and providing consular services overseas.
He directed officials to strengthen coordination between the Foreign Office headquarters and missions abroad in order to improve communication and efficiency.
The foreign minister also emphasized the need to further enhance results-oriented diplomacy and ensure complete alignment with the objectives of Pakistan’s national foreign policy.
Dar instructed officials to focus on the effective use of resources and achieving improved outcomes across diplomatic missions.
The meeting was attended by Minister of State Bilal Azhar Kayani, senior official Tariq Bajwa, Foreign Secretary Amna Baloch, and other high-ranking officials.
