PCB’s senior scorer Najam-us-Saeed passes away

Pakistan Cricket Board's (PCB) senior scorer Najam-us-Saeed has passed away, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

Najam-ul-Saeed was a senior scorer for the Pakistan Cricket Board from a long time.

The funeral prayer of the deceased will be offered in Samanabad Lahore after Asr prayers.

In a message on X platform, the PCB said it was saddened by the passing of former Test scorer Najam-us-Saeed. “Our heartfelt condolences with his family and friends during this time,” the PCB added.

Mohsin Naqvi offers condolences

PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi expressed grief over the passing of senior scorer Najm-us-Saeed.

In a post on X platform, Mohsin Naqvi offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, saying Najm-us-Saeed was a prominent name in the scoring department and his services to the PCB will always be remembered.

Mohsin Naqvi said may Allah Almighty grant the deceased a place in His mercy and bestow patience upon the bereaved family, Ameen!
