PML-N Vice-President Maryam Nawaz did not make a speech at the PDM’s Peshawar rally on Sunday after her grandmother breather her last in London, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

As the news of Begum Shamim Akhtar’s death was broken to the PML-N vice-president at the stage with PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari sitting on one side of her, Maryam Nawaz burst into tears and the PPP chief tried to console her and calm her down.

When her turn to address the crowd came, Maryam simply broke the news to them and said she could not make a speech due to the tragedy.
