According to the ISPR, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation (IBO) on a hideout of the terrorists near Kaitu River in North Waziristan’s area of Spinwam.
As soon as the security forces cordoned off the area, the terrorists opened fire on the troops. Their reaction was aimed at fleeing the areas. However, all four terrorists were killed in the exchange of fire with the security forces personnel.
