Shaheen Afridi ruled out today's match due to foot injury

Pakistan fast bowler Shaheen Afridi has suffered a foot injury, putting his participation in the ongoing T20 tri-nation series in doubt, sources said on Saturday.

He was not included in the national squad for the match against Sri Lanka today. 

According to team sources, Shaheen’s availability for the tournament will be determined only after approval from the medical panel.

Shaheen is expected to miss at least the first two matches of the tri-series due to his injury, sources added.

However, despite the setback, the left-arm pacer will continue to remain with the national T20 squad during the series.
