Pakistan beat Sri Lanka by 7 wickets in T20 tri-nation series

Pakistan chased down the target of 129 runs set by Sri Lanka with ease, securing victory by 7 wickets in the third match of the T20 tri-nation series in Rawalpindi on Saturday. 

Pakistan reached the target in 15.3 overs thanks to Sahibzada Farhan.   

 Farhan starred with the bat, remaining unbeaten on 80 runs off 45 balls, including 5 sixes and 6 fours, to lead Pakistan to victory.

Alongside him, Saem Ayub contributed 20 runs, and Babar Azam added 16 runs.

For Sri Lanka, Dushmantha Chameera picked up two wickets.

Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to bat first, but managed to score only 128 runs for seven wickets in their allotted 20 overs.

For Sri Lanka, Jainth Liyanage top-scored with an unbeaten 41 runs, while Kusal Perera contributed 25, and Kamal Mishra added 22 runs.

Pakistan’s bowling attack delivered a disciplined performance.

Mohammad Nawaz picked up three wickets, while Salman Mirza, Faheem Ashraf, and Abrar Ahmed claimed one wicket each.

Earlier in the series, Sri Lanka faced a 67-run defeat against Zimbabwe in their opening match, while Pakistan began their campaign with a five-wicket victory over Zimbabwe.
