Faisalabad police sub-inspector Rana Zahid made a dramatic scene on Thursday and snatched his accused brother from the Federal Investigative Agency FIA custody, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The TV channel reported that FIA officials arrested Rana Sajid, who is accused of committing cybercrime, but his brother Rana Zahid interrupted the investigation and got his brother freed from the custody of the FIA officials at gunpoint.

Later, an FIR was lodged at Madina Town Police Station against the nine accused including sub-inspector Rana Zahid for involvement in the incident.

The state has provided a rifle to the Punjab police sub-inspector was supposed to use for the protection of the citizens but instead, he used the same gun against the fellow investigative agency to get his accused brother released.
