JI ameer Sirajul Haq calls for socioeconomic equity, political reforms

Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan ameer Sirajul Haq on Saturday expressed his concerns about the escalating challenges facing Pakistan, including the widening gap between the rich and the poor, issues of justice, and the pressing need for political reform.

According to the 24NewsHD TV channel, JI Ameer stated that the economic struggle of people had intensified in recent times. He drew a stark contrast between the struggles of the poor and the luxury enjoyed by those in power.

He spotlighted a tragic incident in which five brothers from Shuja Abad met a tragic end in Turbat and emphasized the prevailing sense of injustice and despair among their grieving mother.

Sirajul Haque underscored the lack of justice in the country, with the cries of the underprivileged seemingly falling on deaf ears.

He called attention to the stark imbalance between laborers toiling in factories and factory owners reaping the benefits, a socioeconomic disparity that has persisted for 75 years.

 Haq also criticized the prevalence of dynastic politics within various parties. He pointed out prominent figures like Shah Mahmood Qureshi and Yusuf Raza Gillani, emphasizing the continued dominance of a few influential families that, in his view, have held the nation hostage.

Jamaat-e-Islami stands firmly against these oppressors and is committed to battling the influence of powerful mafia, he added.

He urged the people to be prepared to change the current system and questioned how long they would remain subservient to the landlord class.

Sirajul Haq called for leaders who were not corrupt, thieves, or thugs to govern the country and proudly stated that Jamaat-e-Islami is the only party whose leader is not tainted by allegations of corruption.

In advocating for equal opportunities, he stressed the need for quality education accessible to all, regardless of their economic backgrounds.
