Man shoots wife dead for ‘honour’ in Shikarpur

A man, along with his brother, killed his wife for ‘honour’ in Dahr village, Shikarpur, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Sunday.

According to police, the deceased identified as Rabia was the mother of two children.

The accused identified as Siraj Mehr shot dead his wife along with his brother Sajid.

The accused managed to escape after the incident.

Police took the body into custody and shifted it to Lakhi Ghulam Shah Hospital where the doctor referred it to Shikarpur Civil Hospital for postmortem.

Investigations into the incident were launched. A search was also launched for the arrest of the accused.
