Police in Rawalpindi book lawyer for raping his client

Police in Rawalpindi on Monday registered an FIR against a lawyer for allegedly raping his female client, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The woman, in her complaint, said that she had met Advocate Iftikhar Hussain in connection with the case of a separation from her husband. “The lawyer said he would marry me once I get separated from my husband.”

But instead of marrying her, the complainant added, Iftikhar took her to different places where he raped her. “And now when I have conceived a child, he still refuses to marry me,” the woman said.
