10 armed forces officers approved to join civil services, FPSC confirms

The Federal Public Service Commission (FPSC) has approved the induction of ten officers from the armed forces into various civil services, including the Pakistan Administrative Service (PAS), Police Service of Pakistan (PSP), and Foreign Service of Pakistan (FSP), according to an official statement issued on Wednesday.

The FPSC confirmed that five officers have been approved to join the Pakistan Administrative Service, three officers to the Police Service, and two officers to the Foreign Service of Pakistan.

The Commission stated that the officers were declared successful in the psychological and verbal examinations held under the Competitive Examination 2024.

According to details, the following inductions have been approved:

Captain Yasir Hameed and Captain Zohaib Nasir – Foreign Service of Pakistan

Captain Hamza Tahir Shah, Captain Imtiaz Hussain, and Captain Muhammad Bilal Khan Wazir – Police Service of Pakistan

Captain Abdul Rehman Qasim, Captain Syed Muhammad Umar Shah, Flight Lieutenant Talha Haseeb (Pakistan Air Force), Lieutenant Muhammad Arsalan Shakeel (Pakistan Navy), and Lieutenant Muhammad Ali Hamad – Pakistan Administrative Service

The FPSC noted that these inductions reflect the continued integration of armed forces talent into national governance and administrative frameworks, strengthening coordination between civil and defense institutions.
