NEPRA to hear CPPA’s plea for cut in power tariff on Oct 29

Good news for consumers across the country, including Karachi, as the Central Power Purchasing Agency (CPPA) on Wednesday submitted in the National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) an application for 37 paisa per unit cut in the electricity prices under the fuel adjustment for September, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
The NEPRA will hear the application on October 29.
Presently, consumers are paying their electricity bills as per the fuel adjustment for August under which electricity prices had been increased by eight paisa per unit.
