No rift in PML-N over quitting AJK government: Shah Ghulam Qadir

President of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Shah Ghulam Qadir, has said there is no disagreement within the party regarding its decision to separate from the coalition government.

Speaking to the media, Shah Ghulam Qadir clarified that the PML-N has decided to sit in the opposition, and the party’s stance on the matter is final.

“If a no-confidence motion is moved and the Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) contacts us, we will consider it,” he said. “If the Anwar government has a majority, it will stay; if not, it will go, we have nothing to do with that.”

He further remarked that the PPP should be asked whether it has the required numbers or not, adding that if the PPP seeks PML-N’s support in any future political move, the party will review the situation accordingly.
