Pakistan on Thursday rejected the impression of any Pakistani delegation’s visit to Israel, reported 24News HD TV Channel.
The Foreign Office spokesperson in a statement issued here on Thursday categorically rejected the notion of any delegation visiting Israel from Pakistan.
The FO spokesperson said that the “reported visit in question was organized by a foreign Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) which is not based in Pakistan.”
The Spokesperson said Pakistan’s position on the Palestinian issue was clear and unambiguous as there is no change whatsoever in the Pakistani policy on which there is a complete national consensus.
He further stated that Pakistan steadfastly supports the Palestinian people’s inalienable right to self-determination.
The spokesperson said that the establishment of an independent, viable and contiguous Palestinian State with pre-1967 borders and Al-Quds Al-Sharif as its capital, in accordance with the relevant UN and OIC resolutions, was imperative for just and lasting peace in the region.
