Most wanted terrorist of TTP killed in Dera Ismael Khan

A most wanted terrorist of Tehrik-e-Talban Pakistan has been killed in a joint operation of security forces, Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) and local police in Dera Ismael Khan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

According to details, security forces and Dera police reached for the joint search operation in the Midi area of CTD police station Kalachi.

After the arrival, unknown terrorists started firing on police and security forces while police and security forces retaliated with full force.

The exchange of fire continued for a long time.

After the firing stopped, the area was searched and the dead body of a terrorist was found who was identified as the local commander of TTP Gandapur group Ikramullah, a resident of Kalachi.

The body of the slain terrorist was shifted to Civil Hospital Kalachi for post-mortem.

The slain terrorist was wanted by Dera Police and CTD in several cases related to terrorism, attacks on police, and kidnapping for ransom.
