Anosh Ahmed hosts Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) in Karachi, spreading message of unity

The Anosh Foundation, led by Chairman Anosh Ahmed, organised a grand Milad-un-Nabi at the Karachi Press Club (KPC) on Sunday to celebrate the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him). The event was attended by a large number of journalists, community leaders, and office bearers of the KPC, making it one of the most memorable gatherings of the year.

The ceremony brought together prominent figures including KPC President Fazil Jamili, Secretary Sohail Afzal Khan, Joint Secretary M. Munsif, Treasurer Imran Ayub, Muhammad Rizwan Bhatti, former Secretary Raja Kamran, and former Treasurer Imran Ayub. Their presence, alongside many senior journalists from print, digital, and electronic media, reflected the unity and respect associated with the occasion.

The Mehfil commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran by Qari Ghulam Hussain. Pakistan’s well-known Naat Khawan, Alhaj Siddique Ismail, attended as a special guest and inspired the audience with his heartfelt renditions. Other respected reciters such as Faisal Hassan Naqshbandi, Muhammad Asad Ayub, Muhammad Zubair, and Sumair Ahmed also participated. Adding further spirit to the gathering, journalists including Hafiz Salman Tariq, Ayaz Siddiqui, Wajid Hussain Ansari, Sibt-e-Hassan, and Shafiq Ahmed recited praises of the Prophet (PBUH), each presentation drawing deep appreciation from the crowd.

Throughout the evening, the hall echoed with blessings and salutations upon the Prophet (PBUH). Attendees described the environment as uplifting, with every moment filled with love and devotion. The collective atmosphere highlighted the community’s shared reverence for the Messenger of Allah (PBUH) and the values he embodied.

A key highlight of the program was the awarding of a luxury five-star Umrah package through balloting. The announcement was met with joy, as the recipient was granted the opportunity to embark on the sacred journey with complete arrangements. Shields of recognition were also presented to the reciters and Karachi Press Club office bearers for their contributions. The evening concluded with a grand feast that left participants appreciating not only the spiritual but also the communal warmth of the event.

Speaking on the occasion, Anosh Ahmed reminded the audience that Eid Milad-un-Nabi is not only a commemoration but also a reminder to follow the noble Seerah of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). He stressed that the celebration must inspire individuals to practice the Prophet’s teachings in their lives. “The message of Milad-un-Nabi is one of unity, love, and peace,” he said. “By adopting the guidance of the Prophet (PBUH), society can achieve true reform and progress.” He added that the life of the Prophet is a shining example for all humanity and should remain a guiding light in times of division.

He also thanked the administration of the Karachi Press Club for hosting the gathering and praised the role of journalists in spreading messages of brotherhood and harmony. His address was welcomed warmly, with participants agreeing that events like these remind Muslims of their duty to build a society based on compassion, tolerance, and love.

The event concluded with closing remarks from KPC President Fazil Jamili, who appreciated the Anosh Foundation’s efforts in organizing a spiritually enriching program. He said the Mehfil was historic and meaningful, reflecting both devotion and unity. The evening ended with collective salutations upon the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and a special prayer for peace and prosperity in the country.
