Pakistan’s team management lodged a strong complaint with the International Cricket Council (ICC) against the controversial decision of the TV umpire in which he declared Pakistani opener Fakhar Zaman “out” when he was not, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

The Pakistani team management emailed the complaint against the decision of the manager, umpire, and match referee.

According to sources, the Pakistani team management said in the email that “the decision of TV umpire to declare Fakhar Zaman “out” was wrong and controversial. The TV umpire miserably failed to judge the catch thoroughly from every angle.”

The email further stated “that the benefit of doubt” of controversial catches always goes to the batsmen.

The Pakistani team management said that the TV umpire ignored all the solid and strong evidence and took the decision in favour of the fielding side.
