Public holiday in Sindh’s 14 districts on eve of LG by-elections 

Sindh government has declared public holiday in 14 districts of the province on September 24 on the occasion of the local bodies by-elections, reported 24NewsHDTV Channel. 

A public holiday will be observed in 14 districts of Sindh including Ghotki, Sukkur, Khairpur, Mirpurkhas, Umerkot, Matiari, Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Dadu, Badin and Thatta. 

A public holiday has also been declared in Karachi West, Karachi East and Kemari districts of Karachi city. 

The holiday notification was aimed at facilitating voters for local body by-elections. According to a notification, all government offices and institutions will remain closed in 24 districts on Wednesday, September 24.
