Two robbery accused dead in Faisalabad police encounter

Two robbery accused died after receiving bullet injuries, and four escaped during a police encounter in Faisalabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

According to details, a Crime Control Department (CCD) team, headed by In-Charge Siddique Cheema, raided the Joray Pul area to apprehend the accused.

After taking notice of the CCD team, the accused opened fire on the CCD team. Following the exchange of fire, police found two accused in an injured condition, but they succumbed to their injuries in hospital.

The accused were later identified as Mohsin and Zeeshan.

The deceased were involved in different criminal activities, including robbery and dacoity.

Police said that they started a search operation to arrest the four accused who escaped from the scene.
