IHC summons SSP Islamabad in PTI workers harassment case

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) on Tuesday ordered the SSP Operations Islamabad to appear on September 24 on the petition filed against raids on the PTI workers’ homes and their harassment, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Justice Inam Amin Minhas gave the ruling on the petitions filed by PTI leaders Malik Amir, Shoaib Shaheen and others. 

In its order, the court stated that the petitioners’ lawyer had pointed out that the police were raiding party leaders’ and workers’ homes without any authority. 

The petitioners had prayed to the court to order the Islamabad Police to stop violating sanctity of the house.
