Asia Hockey Cup U-18 will be played in Japan from May 29

The Asian Hockey Federation has announced the schedule for the Under-18 Asia Cup 2026 which will be held in Japanese city of Kakamegahara from May 29 to June 6, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Thursday.

The best teams in Asia will compete for the title. The tournament will have separate competitions for men and women.

In the men's event, nine teams have been divided into two groups.

Pool A includes India, Korea, Japan, Chinese Taipei and Kazakhstan. Pool B includes Pakistan, Malaysia, Bangladesh and China.

The Green Shirts will begin their journey on May 30 with a match against China at 11:00 AM.

The second match will be Pakistan vs Malaysia on May 31 (3:00 PM).

The third match Pakistan vs Bangladesh will be played on June 3 at 3:00 PM.

The semi-finals and position matches will begin on June 5.

The final of the tournament and the third-place match will be held on June 6.

Trials were organized by the Pakistan Hockey Federation from across the country in preparation for the event. Talented U-18 players have emerged from the Youth U-18 National Hockey Championship held recently.
