Dr Hasnat calls on CM Maryam, discusses issues related to new cardiac facility in Lahore
The famous British-Pakistani cardiologist Dr. Hasnat Khan called on Punjab Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz in Lahore and briefed CM about his reform agenda, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel.
On the occasion, CM congratulated him on taking charge of newly established Jinnah Institute of Cardiology.
During the meeting, Dr. Hasnat Khan discussed key administrative, operational, and structural matters related to the newly constructed state-of-the-art cardiac facility in Lahore.
During the meeting, Maryam Nawaz hailed Dr. Hasnat Khan’s professional journey and his strong sense of national duty, highlighting his decision to leave behind a medical career in the United Kingdom and return to Pakistan to serve his fellow citizens.
Detailed consultations were held on the governance, management structure, and future roadmap of the Jinnah Institute of Cardiology, with a clear objective of elevating it into a world-class heart hospital. Chief Minister reiterated her government’s vision to transform the facility into a premier healthcare institution not just for Punjab, but for the entire country.
