ATC grants physical remand of three PTI female workers in May 9 Vandalism Case

Three women workers of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Tuesday were booked over a case of setting police vehicles on fire on May 9 in Lahore after the Identification parade, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Lahore police arrested the PTI worker women Tasneem Akhtar, Sadia Naz and Farkhanda Bibi over involvement in arson on May 9.

After the identification parade, a case was filed in the Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) of Judge Ejaz Ahmad Buttar against the accused women.

The police requested the court for a physical remand of the accused which was granted for two days.

Irfan Alvi, the advocate for the accused, stated that his clients were arrested on August 5 from Zaman Park under case number 103/23 filed in Sarwar Road police station and they were not involved in any activity regarding arson or vandalism on May 9.
