PM Shehbaz, Nawaz Sharif discuss Imran Khan’s hospital transfer issue
Formation of government in AJK also comes under discussion
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with the PML-N President Nawaz Sharif at Jati Umra in Raiwind on Sunday and discussed with him the country’s political situation as well as other important matters, including the transfer of former prime minister and PTI founder Imran Khan to a hospital, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.
Sources told the 24News TV channel that opposition parties’ possible alliance also came under discussion at the meeting, which lasted for two hours.
They informed that two bigwigs of the PML-N also discussed the formation of the government in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) and pondered over the names of Shah Ghulam Qadir and Tariq Farooq for the seat of the prime minister in AJK.
Contrary to the Supreme Court order to shift Imran Khan to Shifa International Hospital, the government shifted him to PIMS, which invited the wrath of the opposition parties.
The government, on the other hand, insisted it had implemented the apex court order by shifting the former PM to a hospital and getting his medical examination.
