A grade 18 official is accused of harassing women by making videos, 24NewsHD TV channel reported on Wednesday.

The Senate official was suspended after he was booked on charges of harassing women by filming.

Authorities took action after a woman posted a clip on social media showing the the accused making a video of the women.

He ran as the woman questioned as to why he was doing so..

A case has been registered and investigation is on. The suspect has been suspended for four months.

Surge in harassment cases made lawmen launch a comprehensive campaign a few months ago. They started making it to educational institutes to to sensitise students about the subject.
