Mohsin Hassan Butt appointed as IG Balochistan

The establishment division has appointed Mohsin Hassan Butt as new Balochistan Inspector General of Police (IGP) replacing the incumbent IG Muhammad Tahir Raye, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The appointment was earlier approved by the federal cabinet through circulation summary.

Mohsin Hassan Butt was OSD at the Establishment division. Muhammad Tahir Raye has been transferred and posted as the National Coordinator of the National Counter Terrorism Authority (Nacta). 

The Nacta’s National Coordinator Mehar Khaliq Laq has been asked to report to the Establishment Division.
