Sindh announces summer vacations in educational institutes from June 1 to July 31

The Sindh government announced summer vacations in all educational institutes from June 1, 2022, to July 31, 2022.

According to the 24News HD TV channel, the provincial government has reduced the duration of the holidays from three months to two months.

So now the summer vacations in educational institutions across Sindh will be for only two months this year and the new academic year will start on August 1 instead of April 1.

The channel report said that the current academic session will end on May 31 instead of March 31 in the educational institutes in Sindh.

A steering committee meeting of the Sindh Education Department was held on Tuesday. Minister of Education chaired the meeting.

As per the decision, the examinations of the fourth to eighth classes will be held from May 2, while the ninth and tenth board examinations will be held from May 17 and their results will come on July 17.

The Chairman of the Boards assured the Minister of Education to give the result in two months and admissions to higher schools will be open from July 1 to July 31. While the first year and second-year exams will be held from 15th June.

The meeting was attended by Education Secretary Ghulam Akbar Leghari, Secretary Colleges Khalid Haider Shah and other steering committee members.
