Maryam blames “group of five” for Pakistan’s situation

Senior Vice President Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PMLN) Maryam Nawaz Thursday bashing the opposition and establishment said that the “Group of five” is responsible for the dire situation Pakistan is in today, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Maryam Nawaz, while addressing the workers' convention in Sargodha said that she came to Sargodha with her father Nawaz Sharif’s case and the public of Sargodha already knows everything.

Referring to PTI chief Imran Khan, she said that the “Watch Thief” has been whining about conspiracies against him since the moment he was disqualified from power.

She further lambasted the former premier for appointing “Punjab’s biggest dacoit” Chaudhry Pervaiz Elahi as his party’s central president.

Talking about the audio leak between Dr Yasmin Rashid and CCPO Lahore Dogar, Maryam quoted the conversation saying that they have their people in the Supreme Court and yet the compromised Judges Justice Ijazul Ahsan and Mazahar Ali Akbar Naqvi are included in the bench. In their days, every decision was given against Nawaz Sharif.

Maryam said that General Faiz needed a political personality for his plot and Nawaz Sharif was of no use for him. He used to say that Nawaz Sharif has grown from his own stature and now his remains are coming to light before the public.

Referring to PTI’s ‘Jail Bharo Tehreek’, Maryam said the party chairman was asking his workers to court arrests while “he himself is hiding in a mouse hole”. “Leaders led from the front like Nawaz Sharif. Jails for workers and bails for himself,” she remarked.

The PML-N senior vice president claimed that policemen kept asking the party workers to turn themselves in, but they instead fled from the spot. “Now, they are moving court for the release of their leader,” she added.

She also asked party supporters to promote the PML-N supremo’s message, and told them to prepare for elections, which not only have to be contested, but won also.

Maryam said that PMLN has never been afraid of the elections and will never be. PMLN will definitely win the polls.

Rana Sanaullah said that PMLN has never hesitated to go in the public. He told the workers to prepare for the arrival of Nawaz Sharif saying that PMLN Leader will address the next meeting in Sargodha. He said that Pakistan was on its way to becoming the Asian Tiger in Nawaz’s rule but the “Watch Thief” and “Fitna” was imposed on the nation.

Sanaullah demanded that pure and transparent provincial and national elections should be held together. Justice should be seen being served in the Country. He said that they respect the judges and want the judiciary to be respected and honored. Reading an anti-judiciary slogan on a banner, he said that such slogans should not be adorned on the banners. Nawaz Sharif held a long march for restoration of the judiciary and to get their lost honor and respect back.

Bashing Imran Khan, he said that he will once again not accept the election results if he loses and will come out on the roads again. He and his four-year rule is responsible for today’s situation of Pakistan.
