ECP says candidates who succeeded in two seats can keep only one seat

The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) clarified that all such successful candidates who have been declared successful in two or more seats can keep only one seat for themselves.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, the ECP also explained that the successful candidate tenders his resignation from all but one seat otherwise, all the seats will be considered vacant after 30 days under Article (2) 223 of the Constitution of Pakistan.
The ECP further explained that except for the seat on which the candidate has been declared successful at the end.
