Name of Balochistan CM to be announced in ‘48 hours’

The name of the chief minister of Balochistan will be announced in 48 hours, sources in PPP said on Thursday.

According to 24NewsHD TV channel, a meeting of provincial leaders of the Pakistan People's Party (PPP) and Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) on the formation of government in Balochistan was held in Islamabad.

According to the PPP sources, the names of four members were considered for the post of CM. Sadiq Imrani, Zahoor Buledi, Sarfraz Bugti and Nawab Sanaullah Zehri are under consideration, they said. 

Sources in the PML-N said half-term will be given to the PPP. However, the PPP insiders said there were no talks of a two-and-a-half-year formula.

An important meeting of the PML-N will be held tomorrow in Lahore, the sources said, adding that the meeting will take up the matter.

Newly-elected members of the Balochistan Assembly from the Nawaz League will also participate in the meeting, the insider said.
