Detained PTI leader Ijaz Chaudhary shifted to hospital

PTI Senator Ejaz Chaudhry, who is imprisoned in Kot Lakhpat Jail, Lahore, was rushed to a hospital amid strict security after his health deteriorated, said the PTI leader’s spokesman, reported 24NewsHD TV Channel on Sunday.

The spokesperson further said that the senator underwent coronary artery bypass surgery.

Following the procedure, his condition improved, and he is now out of danger, 

Chaudhry has been incarcerated in Kot Lakhpat Jail since May 9, 2023.

His health issues have raised concerns among his supporters and the public.

The PTI leadership has expressed gratitude to the medical staff for their prompt response and care.

They have also called for the immediate release of all political leaders and workers detained during the recent political unrest.
