Pakistan and Russia explore cooperation in education, business, and tourism

The ambassador of the Russian Federation to Pakistan Albert Khorev met with a delegation led by Habib Ahmed, honorary consular of the Russian Federation in Lahore to discuss strengthening bilateral ties across multiple sectors. 

The meeting, attended by prominent figures including Prof Dr Muhammad Ashraf Nizami and senior former bureaucrat Dr Allah Bakhsh Malik, focused on fostering collaboration in science, culture, education, business, and technology.

A key highlight of the discussions was the emphasis on student exchange programs, aimed at enhancing educational cooperation and mutual learning experiences between Pakistan and Russia.

The delegation also explored avenues for boosting tourism, recognizing its potential to strengthen people-to-people connections and cultural understanding. 

Strategies for expanding direct engagement between citizens of both nations were deliberated in detail, reflecting a commitment to deepening the friendship between Pakistan and Russia.

Alena Kolesnikova, Chief of Education, Science, and Culture at the Russian Embassy, accompanied the Ambassador and provided valuable insights into expanding educational and cultural collaborations. 

Speaking at the occasion, Prof. Dr. Muhammad Ashraf Nizami expressed optimism about the growing relations between Pakistan and Russia, highlighting the immense potential for meaningful partnerships that could drive mutual growth and prosperity.
