Sardar triumphs in Pakistan’s prestigious 'Lake City Derby Race'

Pakistan’s prestigious horse racing event, the Lake City Pakistan Derby, concluded with an exhilarating finish as 'Sardar' emerged victorious, claiming the top prize. 

The grand event, held at the Lahore Race Club, attracted equestrian enthusiasts from across the country while President Asif Ali Zardari graced the occasion as the chief guest. 

In addition to the thrilling derby, the President Breeders Pakistan Cup was won by 'Perfect Again', while 'Golden Market' secured the runner-up position, followed by 'Soft Retor' in third place.

The highlight of the event was Sardar’s remarkable performance, which earned its owner a prize of Rs. 6.4 million. 

The competition featured some of the finest racehorses, making it a highly anticipated spectacle in Pakistan’s racing calendar.

President Zardari visited the Lahore Race Club, enjoyed the intense racing action, and appreciated the enthusiasm surrounding the sport.
