UAE further tightens visa policy for Pakistanis

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has further tightened its visa policy for Pakistanis. 

According to a spokesperson from the UAE embassy, the visa fee is set at $69 per person, and applicants must submit their visa applications through an online portal.

Upon submission, applicants will receive a notification, and must bring the required documents, including a bank statement showing a minimum balance of $5,000 or an equivalent amount.

Additionally, applicants are required to provide proof of hotel or accommodation arrangements, as well as a confirmed return ticket when submitting their application at the embassy. 

A passport with a minimum validity of six months is also required, and the visa fee must be paid into a designated Al-Falah Bank account.

New guidelines for children's visas have also been introduced.

Children under the age of 5 are not required to visit the visa centre, while those aged 6 to 15 will have their photograph taken at the centre.

Children aged 15 or older must visit the centre in person.

The biometric verification and visa processing will be completed at the visa centre, according to the embassy's spokesperson.

This updated policy aims to streamline the visa application process and ensure better security through biometric checks.
