Eight more Katcha dacoits surrender in Ubaro

Eight more dacoits of the Ronti Katcha area surrendered during the ongoing “Nijat Mehran” operation in Ubaro, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

A spokesman of the police department said that in total 45 dacoits have so far been surrendered during the month.

 Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Ghotki Mohammad Anwar Khetran and Deputy Commissioner Gotki Manzoor Ahmad Kinrani visited the Katcha area.

Talking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Manzoor Ahmad said that a school and a medical camp will be established in the area soon.

The spokesman of the police further revealed that 90 percent of the area of Katcha already been retrieved from dacoits.

Earlier, the police and Rangers successfully conducted a joint operation in the Ronti Kacha area of Sindh, resulting in the surrender of notorious criminal Sanaullah, alias Tanushar
The gang leader, infamous for a Rs 10 million heist, handed over his weapons and submitted to the authorities without resistance.
Authorities confirmed that Sanaullah was wanted in more than 50 cases filed with both Sindh and Punjab police. 
The suspect has a long history of criminal activities, spanning multiple districts across both provinces.
Sanaullah is also accused in cases related to the killing of 17 police officers and personnel in Sindh and Punjab. 
Law enforcement agencies had been pursuing him for several years, making this surrender a major achievement for regional policing efforts.
Moreover, Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar termed the surrender a significant success of the government’s strategy and the sustained efforts of law enforcement agencies.
