Gold price soars by Rs3,000 per tola in Pakistan

The price of 24-karat per-tola gold increased by Rs3,000 and was sold at Rs536,562 on Monday compared to its sale at Rs533,562 on the previous trading day, All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported.
The price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold also increased by Rs2,572 to Rs460,015 from Rs457,443, whereas the price of 10 grams of 22-karat gold went up by Rs-2,358 to Rs421,695 from Rs419,337.
The price of per-tola silver increased by Rs146 to Rs9,094 from Rs8,948, while that of 10 grams silver rose by Rs125 to Rs7,796 from Rs7,671.
The price of gold in the international market increased by $30 to $5,138 from $5,108, whereas that of silver rose by $1.46 to $86.10.
