A huge cache of arms and ammunition has been seized during an operation carried out by the security forces in South Waziristan, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

According to an ISPR statement released on Sunday, the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the Sarwakai area of South Waziristan District after receiving reports of a terrorists’ hideout in the area.

During search of the area, a large quantity of weapons, ammunition and IED preparation material were recovered from the hideout. 

The recovered cache of weapons and ammunition included sub-machine guns, RPG-7, hand grenades and a large quantity of ammunition of multiple calibres.
