Minister Railways announces ending of porters “slavery contract system”

Minister Railways Azam Swati has announced ending the “slavery contract system” of the porters at all railway stations.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Swati said that whoever earns money from any railway station in Pakistan will take the money home now.
He was addressing the inauguration ceremony of the RO Plant of the Saylani Welfare Trust at Karachi Cantt Station on Sunday.
The Minister for Railways that he was learned two weeks ago that we have put slavery on the porters but now the contracting system will not work anymore.
Regarding the rehabilitation of KCR, he said that the transformation plan for Karachi would be completed soon.
He also said that they trying to complete the work within a year and a half of the PTI government. He also announced the provision of land for the Saylani Welfare
