The PTCL administration has closed down Edhi Foundation’s free phone call service in Hyderabad, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Monday.

Resenting the PTCL decision, the Edhi administration in the city has decided to observe a strike. 

Edhi Zonal In-charge Mairaj said that the philanthropic organization receives hundreds of phone calls daily and it provides its ambulances for emergency needs. He resented that the PTCL shows such kind of apathy after every six months.

He warned that if the free call service was not restored, then the Edhi Foundation would close down its service in Hyderabad.
