Man commits suicide after killing wife, three kids in Karachi

A man committed suicide after cutting the throat of his wife and three children at the Wireless Gate area of Karachi on Monday.
According to the 24News HD TV channel, Karachi police said five dead bodies were found in the apartment near the Wireless Gate.
The police officials said a man named Syed Ahsan Raza Rizvi committed suicide by putting a noose around his neck as his body was found hanging in the house.
Before committing suicide, Ahsan Raza killed his wife Nida, two sons named Jibraeel, Makaeel and a daughter Umme Hani.
Ahsan Raza wrote on the wall and LED in English that he had written the reasons for committing suicide and killing his wife and children along with the details about who was killed when and how on the laptop. Police seized Ahsan's laptop.
The accused also left a note in the diary and asked to open the file saved on his laptop.
In the note, he said, "I am Syed Ahsan Raza Rizvi committing suicide and killing his wife and children. Be sure to see the Word file on the desktop of the laptop. I have completed all the Word files. My children and Nida are martyrs. They didn't even know that I was going to do something like that. Sorry Sami I didn't have any other easy way."

The neighbours told the police that Ahsan Raza was an employee in a garment factory and used to work in a garment factory. They also said that husband and wife used to quarrel due to poverty.
SSP Malir Tariq Mastoi talked to the media and said the business of a person named Ahsan Raza had been closed since then he was disturbed.
The SSP said there are marks of stab wounds on the throats of the bodies of the children.
He said the Crime Scene Unit personnel are collecting evidence from the flat and dead bodies have been shifted from the residence to Jinnah Hospital.
