Rangers arrest fake colonel in Karachi

A fake colonel was arrested in Karachi on Tuesday who had conned a number of citizens and looted millions of rupees from them, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

The arrest was made by Rangers personnel in Shah Faisal Colony

Accused Kaleem trapped citizens by introducing himself as a colonel of an intelligence agency and then deprived them of millions of rupees.

According to a Rangers spokesman, the personnel also seized arms and fake card of an intelligence agency from the possession of the impersonator.

Man shot dead on resistance

A man was killed and four others were injured when they tried to resist a dacoity at a shop on Abual Hassan Isphahani Road in Karachi.
The deceased was identified as Abdul Bari.

Meanwhile, an accused was killed and four others were injured in alleged police encounters in different localities of Karachi on Monday night.

In another incident, four people including a woman were stabbed and injured on Super Highway.

The police have also recovered a dead body from Manghopir Pumping Station.
