Harry Styles sparks fan backlash after announcing limited ‘Together Together’ world tour

Harry Styles is officially returning to the stage, but not all fans are celebrating.

The former One Direction star has announced his Together Together Tour, marking his first major run of live shows since 2023. While the news sent parts of his global fanbase into a frenzy, others were quick to express disappointment over what they called a “limited” world tour.

The 31-year-old hitmaker revealed he will perform a seven-city global residency, playing 50 shows across just six countries, including the UK, the US, the Netherlands, Mexico, Brazil, and Australia.

As part of the tour, Harry will bring the show to Australia, with two dates scheduled at Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on November 27 and 28, followed by two final performances in Sydney on December 12 and 13.

Despite the excitement surrounding his return to touring, many fans took to Instagram to vent their frustration.

“Harry, in my opinion, you need to be together in more parts of the world,” one follower commented, while another wrote, “Nah real cuz what do you mean world tour with seven cities??”

Others echoed similar sentiments, with one fan bluntly stating, “Tour, not world tour,” while another joked, “That’s funny, cos I thought I heard world tour.”

Tickets for the Australian shows will go on general sale on January 30, with early access available from January 27 for fans who pre-order Harry’s upcoming album, as well as American Express cardholders. A Live Nation presale is scheduled for January 29, and VIP experience packages — including a meet-and-greet — will also be available.

Alongside the tour announcement, Harry also confirmed that his new single Aperture will be released on Friday, sparking further excitement among fans. The track will feature on his upcoming album, KISS ALL THE TIME. DISCO, OCCASIONALLY, set for release on March 6.

Taking to Instagram earlier this week, Harry shared a behind-the-scenes image from the recording studio, teasing his musical comeback after months of speculation.

The singer previously sent fans into meltdown after launching a mysterious website, webelongtogether.co, which featured a ticking clock that eventually revealed the word “DISCO” — a nod to his new era.
