The schools in Punjab as well all over the country have been closed since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the country which has so far claimed more than 5000 lives in Pakistan.
The government had also promoted all the students to the next classes without holding examinations.
The federal education ministry after discussing the matter with the provinces has given September 15 as the tentative date for reopening of the school in the country. But the final decision would be taken however by the end of August considering the pandemic situation in the country at that time.
On the other hand, private schools association have announced to reopen their schools from August 15 that may lead to another confrontation with the government and the concerned parents.
