Jamiat Ulma-i-Islam (F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman will show his political strength in South Waziristan after a gap of more than two decades following the merger of the erstwhile Fata with the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, reported 24NewsHD TV channel on Friday.

The Maulana will spread his political muscles in South Waziristan after 25 years by holding a political rally on July 25. The Maulana would visit those areas where eccentric movements are in vogue. As a result of improved law and order situation in these areas, healthy political and social activities are about to put into gear.

In the 25th July rally of JUI (F), for the first time a politician belonging to Sindh, Rashid Soomro and other leaders would address the public meeting. 

The big panaflex banners of JUI (F) could be seen putting up in large swathes of South Waziristan and political activities are in full swing in the area.

The national leadership as well as international media will be closely watching Maulana Fazl’s address in the context of deteriorating security situation in neighbouring Afghanistan. 

The Maulana’s address would also be important as the cleric was a critic of Fata’s merger with KP province.
