AJK PM visits newly constructed Atomic Energy Cancer Hospital
Azad Jammu Kashmir Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq on Wednesday visited the newly constructed Atomic Energy Cancer Hospital in Muzaffarabad, 24NewsHD TV channel reported.
Speaking on the occasion, the AJK Prime Minister said his government was committed to establishing a state-of-the-art, fully equipped cancer hospital in the region.
Chaudhry Anwarul Haq said the health facility was a valuable gift from the federal government to the region.
The AJK PM said that it was his long-cherished desire to see a state-of-the-art cancer treatment facility established in Azad Kashmir.
He announced that the State Health Services Department would provide all possible operational support to the hospital.
The AJK PM expressed satisfaction over the modern machinery and cutting-edge medical equipment available at the hospital.
During his visit, the Prime Minister inspected various departments of the hospital and reviewed the treatment facilities being provided to patients.
He also received a comprehensive briefing from Dr Shazia Fatima, the DG NMO, about the various departments and the modern diagnostic and treatment machinery available for the treatment of various types of cancer.
