PTI leader Hammad Azhar reaches home, attends father’s funeral

Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Mian Hammad Azhar, who was a fugitive in a number of May 9 riots cases, reached his residence in Lahore on Wednesday and attended the funeral prayers of his father former Punjab governor Mian Mohammad Azhar, who breathed his last yesterday, reported 24NewsHD TV channel.

Earlier, the dead body of Mian Azhar was also taken to his residence located in Garden Town area of Lahore.

Mian Amir Mehmood, MPA Farhat Abbas, and senior journalist Salman Ghani were also present on the occasion.

Mian Azhar’s funeral was offered at 1.30 PM at Model Town Ground in Lahore.

It is necessary to mention here that Mian Hammad Azhar was on the run over his involvement in the May 9 riots cases.
