Taylor Swift bakes sourdough for Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco

Pop superstar Taylor Swift added a personal touch to Selena Gomez’s 33rd birthday by sending her and fiancé Benny Blanco a homemade gift.

The Grammy-winning singer surprised the couple with a basket containing freshly baked sourdough bread, a candle, and a handwritten note that playfully read, “It’s a loaf story” – a pun referencing her iconic hit “Love Story.”

Benny Blanco shared the thoughtful present on Instagram, showing off the “Homemade sourdough” label and a warm note signed, “Love, Taylor.”

Swift, who has long been close friends with Gomez, appeared in a recent birthday post shared by Selena, where the two were seen celebrating together in a balloon-filled room. Gomez described it as “the most beautiful year” of her life.

Taylor’s love for baking isn’t new. She’s known to whip up treats for her inner circle. 

Earlier this year, she baked Pop-Tarts for Travis Kelce’s photo team, and Kansas City Chiefs coach Andy Reid even revealed she once baked for the team’s offensive line.

Blanco, who got engaged to Gomez in December 2024, also has a flair for quirky romantic gestures. On Valentine’s Day, he filled a bathtub with queso and used a chip trail to surprise her with a heartfelt message.
